We arrived in Belize today! We took a private night tour of the Belize Zoo, which is an animal rescue zoo. All of their animals are native to zoo and are rescued or born at the zoo. We fed a tapir and had up-close (very up-close) encounters with two huge crocodiles, two jaguars, an ocelot, parrots, several types of owls, a boa constrictor, and many others.
What a great way to start your vacation. Have a good time and be careful of those alligators!!
