Leavenworth

We took a quick trip to Leavenworth while Dad was working earlier this month.  It was so hot that we headed straight to the river before we even checked into our hotel.  And when we did check in, we were still in our bathing suits so we swam in the pool before we went to our room!

It is always a treat to visit with these special friends.  We missed the gals that couldn't be there--Rachel, Mary, Nicole, and Katy.

A generous neighbor of Emma and Lily's grandma let us pick cherries from his trees.  Charlie is going to be our close neighbor when we move to Leavenworth.  In fact, Mom and Dad had already met him and he has offered us shoots of his many fruit trees when we are ready to plant.

The kids loved Charlie's large flower garden, too.

Great group!  Can't wait for another visit soon!

White Pass Weekend

We took our new trailer to Rimrock Lake on the east side of White Pass for a fun four day camping trip.

Happy Father's Day!

Dad missed his birthday and Father's Day, so we celebrated his birthday before he left, and celebrated Father's Day when he got back.  We're so blessed to have such a strong, loving, involved, and fun dad.  We hope he feels celebrated every day.

This also corresponded with a lost tooth at night (hence the flashlight), which was a pretty big event in itself.

4th of July

We picked Dad up at the airport and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  What do we do as soon as we get there every 4th of July weekend?  Go crabbing, of course!  This weekend is the start of the crab season, and we don't waste any time.
Is there a baseball diamond with a better view?

Fireside fireworks show.

It was a busy day for this tired boy.  He just couldn't keep his eyes open for the fireworks.

More crabbing.  We all got our limits on Saturday!

Beautiful trip home.

Grrrrrr!
