Dad has spent a lot reading to me from a distance. Via CD when he was in Georgia and I was in Mom's belly; via CD when he was in Korea; via DVD and Skype when he was in Iraq, and via Skype when he was in multiple states. Now, I can read to him while he is away--via phone!
Isn't technology grand! It's also great to give back to your Dad.
