Happy 8th birthday, Sweet Nathan! You got to celebrate with family and friends this year. Your favorites - Maverick, James, and John came over for your first sleepover. We survived - barely. Dad, Evan, and Cameron took you and your friends to the play area across the street for a game of football before dinner. We thought that would wear you out, but there seemed to be plenty of energy in the house after dinner.
We are proud of the person you are becoming. You have close friendships that you maintain even when you are not in the same class at school. You are a voracious reader and we can't seem to get to the library often enough, no matter how often we go. You are very competitive and are learning how to learn from your losses and be a gracious winner. You are a loyal Red Sox and Patriots fan like your dad and brother and even had Tom Brady's number on your cake, which looks green in the picture, but was actually blue. We love you very much and are eager to see what's in store for you this year!
