Happy Halloween!

We had another great camping weekend.  The weather was sunny and crisp and the company was terrific!

Happy birthday (again), Evan!  Nathan and Elsa even decorated the trailer and truck with streamers.

So fun to celebrate Matt and Sara's wedding.  They truly had the most meaningful vows that Mom has ever heard.  We wish them many, many, many years of happiness.

Labor Day Traditions

This was another yummy annual clam boil, or as Elsa calls it, our 'red bag dinner'.  Thank you, Dad, for starting and maintaining the tradition that makes this one of our favorite weekends of the year!

There are no better friends than these three ladies and a couple of others who are too far away to get together as often.  What a wonderful afternoon.

Whistler

We had so much fun mountain biking, hiking, swimming, and goofing off in Whistler.  We are ready to do it again!  

 

 

Oregon Coast

We stopped at Multnomah Falls (and hiked to the top) on our way to the Oregon Coast.

No trip to Gold Beach is complete without a trip up the Wild and Scenic Rogue River on Jerry's Jet Boats.

We saw lots of wildlife, including this bear.

We loved running up and down the dunes.

 

Whew!  This is how you fly a kite when you are worn out from a great vacation.
